Video files created from any video format,
for applications including CD, DVD or VCD creation,
embedding into Powerpoint presentations, web streaming,
or simply for viewing on a computer.
Master tape formats we can encode from include -
VHS, VHS-C, SVHS, SVHS-C, Video 8, Hi-8, Digital 8,
mini DV, DV Cam, Beta SP, Beta SX, Digital Betacam, DVC PRO.
Files can be supplied on media including CD, CD-ROM, DVD, DVD-ROM, HDD.
Video File Conversion Between Formats
Conversion from one video file format to another.
For example mpeg to quicktime, AVI to mpeg etc, etc.
Editing
We can cut, top and tail, and crop video files as required.
We can also stitch files together to create one single file.
This can even be done if the source files are different formats.
We can also improve the quality of the video or audio if required.
PAL : NTSC Conversion
We can convert files from PAL to NTSC and NTSC to PAL.
Video File Conversion to Video
Files converted to any format of video tape, DVD-Video or VCD.
Some information on file types -
MPEG 1
These will play on virtually any computer using Windows Media Player, Quick Time player,
Real Player, and a variety of other software.
They are of relatively small file size, and as they are supplied on CD,
copies can be
produced and distributed inexpensively.
A CD-ROM will hold around 60 to 70 minutes of mpeg1 video.
Powerpoint -
MPEG 1 files are compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint
and can be embedded into a PowerPoint presentation.
VCD -
Compliant files created to be used to produce a VCD (video CD).
We can supply as raw file on CD-ROM, or as VCD format.
MPEG 2
Higher quality and larger file size than MPEG1.
Suitable for producing DVD's or SVCD's.
DVD -
Compliant files created to be used to produce a DVD-Video.
We can supply as raw file on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, or as DVD-Video format.
SVCD -
Compliant files created to be used to produce a SVCD (super video CD).
We can supply as raw file on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, or as SVCD format.
A CD-ROM will hold around 30 minutes, a DVD-ROM will hold 120 minutes.
AVI
High quality uncompressed files. Ideal for video editing.
AVI files are very large. We can supply up to approx. 3 minutes on CD-ROM, 20 Minutes on DVD-ROM or DVD-RAM,
or whatever size required on external hard drive which you can buy
or hire from us.
Other file formats
We can create or convert most other video file types including Windows Media, Quick Time and RealVideo.

When ordering files please advise the required specification,
or alternatively advise us what the intended application for the file will be,
in order for us to select the best setting for your
file.
If you have Windows 98 or earlier please advise as you will need file sizes smaller than 2.0 GB
Files supplied to you on CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM or external hard disc drive.
